Minutes: Do's and Don'ts

This session discusses the purpose and role of agendas and minutes and includes necessary elements, legal definitions and Robert’s Rules of Order.   The session then expands on the problems that arise with minutes and common pitfalls that can cause significant problems or embarrassment. 



On the conclusion of this presentation the participant will be able to:

  • Identify the key elements to be included in minutes
  • State one item that should not be included on a consent agenda
  • State two items that should not be included in minutes
